The styling of our garments is considered to be casual and generous in the fit.
Obviously, the way that you choose to wear your clothing is a personal decision
and we are more than happy to accommodate your fit preferences. Please refer
to the following Fit Chart for general measurement information. We generally
suggest that you measure a comparable type garment in your wardrobe that
fits you well and compare it to our listed measurements.

How to measure a garment in your wardrobe to determine
your MaxEquations size.

Tops are the easiest to determine the size that’s right for you. Look at the
measurements listed for the size closest to your actual bust measurements.
Then add an appropriate amount of extra inches so the Top will fit comfortably.
Garments should not be tight fitting, but loose and comfortable. Allow anywhere
from 4 – 8 (or more) inches extra above your body measurement so you can get
it on with ease, move in it and feel comfortable.

Dresses generally, can follow many of the same sizing rules as Tops, just take a
look at the overall length to determine if that’s right for you.

Jackets and Layering pieces such as Vests should be cut a little larger than the
Top you plan on wearing it with. You will find that we size our Jackets and layering
pieces a minimum of 2 – 4 inches larger than a Top of the same size, so you don’t
have to order a size larger.

The most important measurement to consider for Bottoms (Pants and Skirts) is the
hip measurement. The same rules apply here as they did for Tops, allow extra
inches in the garment above your own body measurements. Almost all of
Bottoms are made with a full elastic waist, and the measurements are noted for
the Relaxed (elastic not stretched at all) and Extended (elastic fully stretched) so
you can be comfortable wherever you fit within those two measurements. Lengths
are important on Skirts and as the inseam measurement on Pants. We are happy
to discuss alterations, if necessary to accommodate your needs.
